Wisconsin Accepting Nominations for Farm to School Advisory Council
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection is accepting multiple nominations for the state’s Farm to School Advisory Council. The Farm to School Advisory Council makes key recommendations to the DATCP Secretary that guide the development of farm to school in Wisconsin and provides an annual farm to school report for the legislature. Members serve three-year terms on the 15-member council, and it meets quarterly. Nominees can be farmers; experts in child health; school food service personnel; and other persons with interests in agriculture, nutrition, and education. Nominations are due by May 15, 2026.
