Local Food Promotion Program
Applications are due by June 5, 2026.
USDA is accepting applications for the Local Food Promotion Program from eligible entities that support local and regional food business enterprises that process, distribute, aggregate, or store locally or regionally produced food products. Four types of grants are available: 24-month Planning grants from $25,000 to $100,000, 36-month Implementation grants from $100,000 to $500,000, and 24-month Turnkey Marketing and Promotion or Turnkey Recruitment and Training grants for a defined set of activities. Eligible applicants include agricultural businesses and cooperatives, food councils, producer networks, and more. Applicants must provide a 25% cost-share match.
