Internship information
General Farm Description: Midnight’s is a small, diversified farm rooted in regenerative practices, climate engagement, and community. We strive to model stewardship and production that tends the soil and addresses the climate crisis through community scale compost production, rotational grazing, biochar utilization, agroforestry and intensive no-till vegetable and berry production. Beyond the compost facility and food production, Midnight’s commitment to community includes running Down Dog Studio, the Field House Farm Stay, and hosting educational events. The farm is also a platform for engagement and advocacy. Our current curiosities/projects include refining our potting mix recipe and production, experimenting with compost extraction, improving pasture through cover crops, agroforestry, perfecting our salad mix, designing a new common farm house and incorporating climate storytelling into our outreach - on the island and beyond.
