Western SARE Graduate Student Grant Program
Proposals are due by March 5, 2026.
Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education’s Graduate Student Grant program involves full-time graduate students enrolled in accredited universities in the Western region their academic advisor, and at least one producer implementing projects to address identified needs in sustainable agriculture. The goal of this grant program is to obtain results that apply to agricultural production, sustain and improve the environmental quality and natural resources upon which agriculture depends, improve the profitability of farmers/ranchers and associated agricultural businesses, and enhance the quality of life of agricultural communities. Western SARE Graduate Student Grants provide a maximum of $30,000 for a period up to three years.
