Minnesota Farmer Climate Action Fund
The application deadline is January 2, 2026.
Funding is available for farmers across Greater Minnesota to implement climate adaptation and mitigation strategies on their farms through the University of Minnesota Extension Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships’ Farmer Climate Action Fund. Grants of $2,500 to $8,000 will be awarded through a competitive process to support on-farm projects such as implementing production practices that promote continuous living covers, incorporating renewable energy alternatives, adopting soil health practices that sequester carbon, or fostering on-farm resilience through improved water management or installing protective infrastructure.
