General Description: Flat Creek Lodge is Southeast Georgia's premier Hunting & Fishing Resort. We are different in that we grow organic berries, have hydroponic greenhouses, mushroom houses and we are a farmstead artisenal producer of sheep and Jersey cow milk cheeses. Please check us out at We raise most of what we serve in our dining and we also sell at Farmer's markets and to restaurants in Atlanta and Savannah Georgia

Internship Starts: June 15, 2009
Internship Ends: Sept 15, 2009
Number of Interns: 1
App Deadline: June 7, 2009
Minimum Length of Stay: 75 days

Meals: Certain meals can be provided.

Skills Desired: Good Communications skills, ability to follow direction.

Educational Opportunities: Learn about agritourism. Assist with harvesting, packaging, sales and distribution of agricultural products

Stipend: Commensurate with experience. Minimum $8.00/hr.

Housing: Can be provided.
