Organic Dry Bean Production Virtual Short Course Set for February
University of Vermont Extension and ECOBEAN: East-Central Organic Dry Bean Collaborative are offering a free, five-part virtual short course on organic dry bean production on Mondays and Fridays, February 2-20, 2026. This course will provide an introductory overview of dry bean production for farmers, service providers, students, and anyone interested in growing dry beans. Participants will engage with content in five modules covering topics ranging from variety selection to marketing. For each module, participants will attend a virtual class session featuring an expert guest speaker, a live question and answer session, and a research round-up segment highlighting current research in the field. Registration is required and space is limited.
