BattleGround to Breaking Ground Tuition Waiver

The deadline to apply for a tuition waiver is December 5, 2025.
BattleGround to Breaking Ground (BGBG) is a training program for active-duty military, military veterans, their families, and the general public who are new/beginning farmers and ranchers, to assist them in starting or enhancing a production agriculture business. BattleGround to Breaking Ground – Condensed Program (Spring Cohorts) spans 27 weeks and is designed to help participants learn how to create a business plan that consist of operations, marketing, management, and financial plans. The course cost is $1,000, and 12 applicants will be chosen to receive a tuition waiver through a competitive application process.
