California Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program Equipment-Only Solicitation

Concept proposals are due by July 17, 2025.
California Department of Food and Agriculture opened an Equipment-Only Solicitation to distribute funds remaining from the 2024 Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program (RFSI) Solicitation. CDFA anticipates awarding a total of approximately $2.3 million to equipment-only projects that expand middle-of-the-food-supply-chain capacity for locally and regionally produced foods and offer more and better market opportunities and new streams of revenue to small and mid-sized agricultural producers. Awards will fund the purchase price of only one piece of equipment, ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, with no match required.
