Diverse Markets Business Builder Grant

The Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center is offering Diverse Markets Business Builder grants between $3,000 and $50,000 that are designed to build and expand local and regional non-commodity markets for climate resilient grains, pulses, and pseudocereals. In order to be eligible, small and mid-scale farms, ranches, and non-farm food businesses must be growing, producing, processing, and/or supporting the aggregation, distribution, and marketing of grain, pulse, and/or pseudocereal products within local and regional value chains. Farms or ranches must be in the six-state region (CO, ID, OR, MT, WA, WY). Non-farm food businesses must be both located in the six-state region and sourcing from local or regional producers, within the six-state region or within 450 miles of their business.
