Empower Farmers Program

Practical Farmers of Iowa is accepting applications for the 2025 Empower Farmers Program. This program offers up-front payments to support the success of historically underserved farmers and ranchers by helping to reduce financial barriers. Historically underserved farmers or ranchers who own or co-own a business that produces table-food crops in Iowa, Nebraska, or Kansas can apply for $500 to $2,000 for in funding for eligible expenses, including assets, education, professional services, and childcare expenses.
