NCAT is excited to host the inaugural Northwest Latino Farmer Conference for Spanish-speaking farmers and ranchers.

The Northwest Latino Farmer Conference is a two-day event that brings together the Spanish speaking agricultural community of the region. This farmer-focused event will deliver the latest information about regenerative farming, business management, pest management, and much more. Participants will have opportunities to learn and network with businesses, organizations, and other farmers.

The first day of the conference includes farm tours in the Wenatchee area featuring farmers implementing innovative practices and management strategies. The second day takes place at Wenatchee Valley College and includes a series of workshops and networking opportunities.

Farmers can register for free!

All workshops and field day visits will be presented in Spanish.

AGENDA

May 7th - Farm tours:
10 am –

A tour bus will carry participants to visit two local farms that are demonstrating successful business and ecological management practices. Will include Lunch and a mixer at the end of the day.

This event will be first come first served. Sign up early! Space is limited!
May 8th - Conference / Exhibitor Day
8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Day two includes abundant opportunities to network with local businesses and organizations. The day will also include a series of presentations from farmers and other experts in the field. Topics will include but not be limited to:
- Farm Business Management
- Integrated Pest Management
- Managing Healthy Soils
- Conservation Programs and Practices
- Government Programs and Access to Capital
- Water/irrigation
