General Farm Description: Cherry Grove Organic Farm is a 25-acre organic farm located in Lawrenceville, NJ. The farm is one hour south of New York City, one hour north of Philadelphia, and three miles outside of Princeton, NJ. We grow a wide variety of heirloom vegetables, perennial and annual flowers, and culinary herbs to sell at two farm markets and to distribute to a 300-member CSA.CRAFT Member Farm? Yes

Internship Details:
We are looking for two hard working market/field work employees for the 2026 season. At Cherry Grove Organic Farm we offer a great learning experience through a hands-on approach to all aspects of farming. Work will include attending markets, seeding, planting, harvesting, tractor work, cultivating, and many other jobs associated with running the farm. Positions are March through November. Hours start slow in March, are @ 25-50 + hours week June through September, and taper off through November. Full season commitment is required. Potential candidates must be able to lift 70lbs. and have had 3 months prior experience working on a verifiable comparable commercial farm.
The pay for these positions is $19.41/hour and includes workers comp and fresh vegetables. Employees will receive 2 bonuses: 5% of pay from start date in 2026 to August 1, 2026 and 5% of pay from August 2, 2026 to last day of work 2026; Full time employees will receive 40 hours of paid sick leave per benefit year.
Having gained all my experience in farming through internships, I feel that at Cherry Grove Organic Farm we are especially capable of offering a great learning experience to serious individuals who wish to pursue a career in farming. We have had several former interns placed in farm management positions.

Educational Opportunities: Interns have the opportunity to attend local CRAFT tours during the season to learn from other local farmers.
Skills Desired: We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and desire to learn more about farming. Potential candidates must be able to lift 70lbs. and have had 3 months verifiable prior experience working on a comparable commercial farm.
