General Farm Description: James Lake Farms is family owned and operated grower and packer of organic fresh cranberries located in Three Lakes, WI. We grow 190 acres of cranberries on two different marshes and run two harvest crews and two packing houses in October and November

Internship Details:

The intern will learn about the details of operating an organic cranberry marsh and packing house during the harvest season.  In depth hands on experience with field operations (both fresh and processed grade fruit), packing house operations, organic systems plans, food safety plans, managing a crew of 30 temporary employees , sales and marketing, logistics and public relations.    The intern will work with our seasonal crews and rotate through various positions during the harvest season which lasts 6-8 weeks.  The position pays $20 per hour and housing is provided.
