Internship information
General Farm Description: We are a small farm in Western New York with a focus on grass-fed and pasture-raised dairy and meat products. We aim to farm sustainably and maximize the land, with an emphasis on product quality and animal well-fare using rotational grazing. Our 100% grass-fed dairy cows provide raw milk to herd share owners. We raise chickens for meat on pasture in moveable hoop houses from May-October and process them ourselves. Our pasture-raised pork is fed whey and grain. We work closely with other farms to build up the farming community and support each other. Erba Verde Farms has its own chicken processing facility where we process our own products as well as other farmers' products. We recently purchased a beef herd and are raising 100% grass-fed beef.
