Tractor Operator – Fairgrown Farm

We are seeking a Tractor Operator/Mechanic to join our vegetable production crew. This position would work alongside the Field Manager operating 80 HP tractors and implements for a variety of tasks such as tillage, bed prep, cultivation, planting, loading/unloading pallets, etc. Other day to day responsibilities include routine machinery maintenance such as oil changes and fluid refills, as well as machinery repairs and property maintenance tasks.

Candidates should have at least 2 seasons of tractor operation experience, ability to operate front end loaders, and experience with implements used in vegetable production. Familiarity with machinery repairs is a plus but willing to train applicants on expanding these skills. We are looking for an able bodied candidate with a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly. Applicants may be asked to come to the farm for a hands-on interview to display skills.
