General Farm Description: Hearth Farm is a 4 acre organic operation in the Snoqualmie Valley, on Snoqualmie People's land. It is in Carnation, WA. We supply produce and pork to the Grange, our farm to table restaurant.

Farm Worker/Kitchen Produce Coordinator
April-November, full time
Hourly $18-20, DOE

Prior farm experience helpful.

Hearth Farm duties: seed propagation and other greenhouse work; field cultivation, planting, weeding, irrigation, harvesting, processing, and packing; maintaining records of work done, seeds planted, produce harvested. Occasional work with hogs and upper farm infrastructure. This person will oversee produce order fulfillment for Grange chef, and help devise program for produce processing.

Food Processing duties: adding value to the Hearth harvest through canning, freezing, dehydrating, pickling, fermenting, saucing, and other value-added practices.

This person will work under the guidance of the farmer/restaurant owner.

Must have: ability to lift 50 lbs, a big heart, a sense of humor, a strong and independent work ethic, flexibility in both body and mind, organizational skills for maintenance of tools, crops, and record-keeping, a driver’s license.
