Internship information
General Farm Description: We are looking to hire a paid internship position. We are a regenerative farm with an organic certification. We use intensive rotational grazing with a large herd of Dorper Sheep through a 200-acre pecan orchard. We also promote the health benefits of pecans as the most nutritious food and Pecans are the simplest answer to any kind of health problem, which they truly are. We provide on-site housing. We are looking for an individual who is truly passionate about farming with animals and using regenerative practices. We also require that you have your own form of transportation. Our farm was founded in 2016 and the Pecan trees are slowly going into production but our harvests have been very small. We are also in the process of marketing Pecans direct to consumers via podcasts and the internet in general. Any help and skills we can get from you in helping with marketing is appreciated. We are located at 540 Ponderosa Rd Bastrop TX 78602 about 40 minutes east of Austin TX. The summers get very hot over here and we still have to work outside and get work done during our hot summers. We don't use any harmful chemicals or toxins on our farm. The farm is thriving with life, there are insects everywhere. The farm is located on the Colorado River. Please do not hesitate to reach out to find out more about this internship opportunity. In Gratitude, Kenneth and Sebastian.
