Internship information
General Farm Description: Pleasant Valley Farm started as just land in 1988 and we have built it up to be a successful enterprise over the decades. We currently sell year-round through an online store that is very diverse and grow produce and herbs year-round utilizing a lot of season extension techniques. Our store carries hundreds of local products as well and we have a great customer base that supports us. We own 60 acres, lease 120, and currently grow cash crops on 2 acres, in addition to many high tunnels, with the possibility of expanding back out with more help. Our daughter is a key part of the team who grows flowers and helps with a lot of the computer needs. We love to teach and share what we have learned, and hope to find long term folks to stay and grow with the farm as we age.
