Sisterland Farms in Port Angeles, WA is very excited to be hiring for our 2024 Dignity Project! Our program is designed for folks who’ve worked and/or are working in food or agriculture—but need a financial boost, some community support, and dedicated mentorship to launch their concept for a business or organization.
This will be a on-farm part-time position (16-24 hours) from May to November 2024 in Port Angeles, WA. Dignity Project Partners are compensated at $19.25/hr; receive a $100 workwear allowance; receive a minimum of 32 hours of 1-on-1 professional development coaching in 2024; receive a launching stipend matching your total 2024 earnings to use for your proposed food/farm project in 2025; and receive 16 hours of 1-on-1 supplementary coaching in 2025.
The 2024 Dignity Partner will: work 16-24 hrs/week on the farm in ‘24; help us advance new and existing projects; advise on the Dignity Project’s efficacy and future; agree to 1 year of collaboration and coaching as you launch your own project in ‘25; and agree to perpetuate and build on the principles and aims of the Dignity Project whenever you are an employer, manager or community leaders.
