Looking to learn more about sustainable agriculture? Join us this summer for the School of Adaptive Agriculture’s “Farm School.” A three month immersive residential program that offers an introduction to ecologically informed production of vegetables, fruits, grains, herbs, and livestock. All situated on the beautiful Ridgewood Ranch in Willits, CA. Each week of the program you can expect 2 days of classroom learning, 2 days of paid work/learn on local farms, and one day full of field trips to local agricultural operations. Educational Opportunities: Fruit and veggie farming, seeding keeping, grain production, animal husbandry, livestock handling, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, small engines.

Skills Desired: New farmers welcome.

Meals: Some meals provided.

Stipend: The program includes a stipend for the work learn portion of the program.

Housing: Yes, 10x12 cabins are provided with access to communal kitchen and bath house.
