General Farm Description: At Bainbridge Vineyards, we are passionate about creating wine from the ground up. As a small, woman-led vineyard and winery, we’ve been growing grapes and making wine exclusively from our certified-organic vineyards since 2013. Located on 40 acres of shared farmland, we tend to rare and elegant varietals that thrive in the Puget Sound. We are the first Certified B Corp winery in Washington State, meeting high standards valuing social and environmental impact. We hand tend 8+ acres with the goals of caring for the earth in a sustainable way, promoting a healthy work- life balance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our local community. Our tasting room is open 4 days per week, Thursday through Sunday, 12-5 pm.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
The Vineyard and Tasting Room Crew is a part-time position that is split between the vineyard during the week and the tasting room on the weekend. We are looking for someone who is interested in working outside while getting to intimately know our beautiful old grape vines and learn how to care for them throughout the season. Farming or similar outdoor work experience is helpful but not required. While the nature of farming requires repetitive and sometimes challenging movements, we highly value body health and do our best to ensure people are not pushed past their limits.
Our tasting room is farmer-friendly in that we value the work we do in the vineyard and like to share our unique experiences with the customers we interact with. Due to the nature of being a small crew, there is the opportunity to get involved in many realms of both the vineyard and winery; having flexibility and willingness to do a variety of tasks is key.
