General Farm Description: Waxwing Farm is a 4+ acre certified Organic vegetable farm just outside of Mount Vernon, WA in the Skagit Valley. We provide produce to our community through our Farmstand and through the Skagit Valley Food Coop. Our focus is on high quality produce, community, and efficient sustainable farming practices. We are entering our seventh season on leased land, and looking forward to a fun and productive year!

Internship Details:

We are hiring for two field crew positions.  4 days a week. May or June-November with more part time hours available earlier in the season. check out our website for details and requirements. https://waxwingfarmllc.com/employment/

Educational Opportunities: This is a paid production position, so it does not have the format of an internship. We value providing conversational and observational learning about the big picture on top of lots of experience with core field work skills. We work with our employees to learn various aspects of our farm operation over time.

Skills Desired: farm or physical work experience beneficial, but not required.
