Michigan Specialty Crop Block Grant

Proposals due February 5, 2026.
The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is accepting applications for Specialty Crop Block Grants. Eligible Michigan entities can apply for maximum awards of $125,000 for research, marketing, training, and education proposals. Funding priorities are market enhancement to promote specialty crops, research and development relevant to specialty crops, and enhancing food safety. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations; local, state, and federal government entities; and for-profit organizations.
