Minnesota Urban Farm Conservation Mini-grant
Applications must be submitted by December 18, 2025.
Minnesota farmers that are located in or serve a city with population of more than 5,000 can apply for Urban Farm Conservation Mini-grants up to $5,000 to make conservation-focused improvements. A total of $100,000 in NRCS funding is available through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Grants can cover projects including irrigation infrastructure improvements, tools and amendments for improving soil health, composting infrastructure, specialty crop rotation equipment, and many other farm improvements that generate conservation outcomes.
