Missouri Diverse Covers Incentive

The Missouri Conservation Crop and Livestock (CRCL) Project provides incentive payments to Missouri producers that encourage the adoption of a wide range of conservation practices to create more resilient crop and livestock systems. The Diverse Covers program offers payment of $40 per acre to plant a cover crop mix of three species, including two non-grass species and one overwintering species, before a non-legume crop such as corn, cotton, or sorghum.
