Nebraska Chapter of Farmer Veteran Coalition Opens

The Center for Rural Affairs (CFRA) posted that a Farmer Veteran Coalition chapter is opening in Nebraska. Participants in CFRA programs were instrumental in founding the new chapter, and CFRA is supporting the effort as part of its long-standing commitment to agriculture training for veterans. “We feel that having a chapter here will further enable veterans who are interested in or already involved in agriculture to become established,” said Farmer Veteran Coalition member Martin Neal. “We hope to bring the national programs to Nebraska and to further the establishment of Nebraska-specific programs that enable farmer veterans to become the next leaders of agriculture in our state.” CFRA notes that a board of directors and advisory committee are being selected for the Nebraska chapter and organizers have applied to the national organization to form a chapter.
