New England Considers Regional Value-Added Dairy Training Center
In 2025, the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center funded research to explore opportunities for a regional Value-Added Dairy Training Center. Through extensive interviews, roundtables, a survey, location analysis, mapping, case studies, and a research scan of relevant programming, the team sought to understand the specific nature of the need and demand for a regional center to provide training, technical expertise, and business services to regional makers of cheese, ice cream, butter, yogurt, and other value-added dairy products. The 68-page final report and a webinar on Developing a Regional Value-Added Dairy Training Center are available online.
