New Video Highlights Barn Swallows’ Role in Farm Pest Control

Wild Farm Alliance has posted a new video that showcases the benefits of barn swallows in livestock production. In the seven-minute short film, Wisconsin farmers Rufus Haucke and Joy Miller of Keewaydin Farms share details on biodiversity at Keewaydin Farms and explain how barn swallows make life better for their sheep. In addition, researcher Francesca Roseo from University of Milan shares results from her study measuring the impact of barn swallows on fly activity.
