North Carolina Specialty Crop Block Grant Program

Applications are due March 10, 2025.
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is accepting applications for the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program from state and/or local governmental units, academia (Universities and Colleges), and nonprofit organizations, including producer associations, community-based organizations, and other specialty crop stakeholders. These funds are for projects that enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops. The Specialty Crop Block Grant is contingent upon available funding from the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. North Carolina anticipates receiving approximately $1.2 million in funding.
