Organic Grower Summit Announces Finalists for Grower of the Year

The Organic Grower Summit presented by Farm Progress honors a Grower of the Year award each year to recognize exceptional leadership and commitment to organic farming and innovation in the organic industry. Four finalists have been chosen from among 15 nominees nationwide, and the winner will be announced at the Organic Grower Summit in December. The finalists are Arnott Duncan, of Duncan Family Farms in Goodyear, Arizona; Larry Jacobs, of Jacobs Farm/del Cabo in Santa Cruz, California; Carl Pepper, of Carl Pepper Farm in O’Donnell, Texas; and
Harold Wilken, of Janie’s Farm and Janie’s Mill in Ashkum, Illinois. Profiles of these finalists and their operations are available online.
