Regional Food Systems Partnership

USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is grants through the Regional Food System Partnerships (RFSP) for the 2025 fiscal year. This program supports partnerships that connect public and private resources to plan and develop local and regional food systems. AMS will award an estimated $4.5 million in grants competitively to eligible applicants proposing high quality projects that meet the purpose and requirements of the program. Eligible entities include producers, farmer or rancher cooperatives, producer networks or associations, majority-controlled producer-based business venture, community supported agriculture networks or associations, food councils, local governments, nonprofit corporations, public benefit corporations, economic development corporations, regional farmers market authorities, and tribal governments. The program includes Planning and Design grants ranging from $100,000 to $250,000, as well as Implementation and Expansion grants ranging from $250,000 to $1 million. A 25% cash cost share is required.
