Report Focuses on Legal and Policy Frameworks for Supporting Sustainable Agriculture
A new report from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) examines pathways for transforming legal and policy frameworks to better support sustainable agriculture. IUCN has produced a comprehensive review of various policy and legal frameworks that can enable transition away from unsustainable production systems that degrade ecosystems, reduce biodiversity, and compromise soil health, water quality and climate resilience. The report, Policy and Legal Enabling Conditions for Sustainable Agriculture, highlights international, regional, and national dimensions of the transition to sustainable agriculture and offers key recommendations for governments and other stakeholders.
