Robert Maggiani was an organic vegetable grower in Texas and Mexico. He has given presentations at hundreds of workshops and conferences about the production and marketing of agricultural products in Texas, other U.S. states, and Mexico. At the National Center for Appropriate Technology, his work focuses on food systems development, training farmers and ranchers to be wholesale-ready to sell to restaurants, schools, and other institutions.
