USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program offers Renewable Energy Systems & Energy Efficiency Improvement Guaranteed Loans & Grants for agricultural producers and eligible rural small businesses. Funds may be used for the purchase and installation of renewable energy systems or for the purchase, installation, and construction of energy efficiency improvements. The program offers loan guarantees for up to 75% of total eligible project costs, grants for up to 50% of total eligible project costs, or combined grant and loan guarantee funding up to 75% of total eligible project costs.
