Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initiative Specialty Processing Equipment Grant

The Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initiative, with support from USDA AMS, offers grants to dairy businesses in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Puerto Rico. Through the Specialty Processing Equipment Grant, established dairy processors or dairy businesses that have conducted and attached a feasibility study detailing their plans for initiating a value-added dairy enterprise are invited to apply for funds to purchase specialty processing equipment. Applicants may also apply for funding for consultant services (for marketing etc.), installation costs, and supplies that support the project. The maximum award is $150,000 and applicants must provide a cash match of at least 25% of the requested grant funds. At least 10 grants will be awarded.
