Southern SARE On-Farm Research Grant

Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education is offering On-Farm Research Grants, open to ag professionals who regularly work with farmers and ranchers on farm production and marketing problems. On-Farm Research Grants must be developed, coordinated and led by ag professionals who will conduct the on-farm research with at least one farmer or rancher cooperator. Nine focus areas are listed online. The maximum funding amount for the grant is $30,000 for a two-year project. Southern SARE accepts proposals from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
