Southern SARE Seeks Nominations for Administrative Council Seats

Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) is seeking two producer representatives and one non-governmental organization representative to fill vacant seats on its Administrative Council. Southern SARE’s Administrative Council guides the vision of the SARE program, setting goals related to sustainable agriculture, overseeing the review of grant Calls for Proposals, evaluating projects, and being ambassadors for the program. Representatives serve on the Administrative Council for a three-year term with opportunities for a second renewal term. The application deadline is November 7, 2025, and terms will begin in February 2026. Nominations from all 13 states in the Southern Region, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands will be considered.
