SOWTH Conference Scholarships

Applications are due by November 13, 2024.
SOWTH 2025, a three-day gathering that will feature several educational tracks, a keynote speaker, farm tours, and a community of over 1,000 farmers and leaders, will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, February 4-6, 2025. Organizers announced that scholarships are available to cover the registration costs, such as a two-day pass, add-on farm tour, and on-site childcare, as well as travel expenses. Scholarships are prioritized for producers who are new and beginning; Black, Indigenous, Latino/a, and persons of color; Veterans; women; and agricultural students in the southern region (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Virginia). Organizers will consider scholarships for other ag and culinary professionals, educators, nonprofit/community organization employees, and food systems professionals as space and funding allow.
