Texas Producer Stipends for Small Producers Initiative Workshops
Applications will be accepted, reviewed, and granted on a rolling basis until program funds are depleted.
The Small Producers Initiative at Texas State University (SPI) was awarded a USDA 2501 Program grant to help ensure that undeserved and veteran farmers, ranchers and foresters can equitably participate in USDA programs. Some of the funds from this grant were allocated to provide financial assistance in the form of a travel stipend to producers in Texas to create access to continued education in conservation, regenerative and sustainable farming and ranching applications, and techniques. If you’re interested in attending an SPI workshop, but need assistance with travel costs, apply for a stipend.
