Value-Added Dairy Experiential Short Course Offered in Southeast
The Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initiative is inviting dairy farmers, value-added dairy producer-processors, and industry partners from Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, and surrounding southeastern states to participate in the 2025 Value-Added Dairy Experiential Short Course from July 30 – August 4, 2025. Short Course will be merged with the Southeast Value-Added Dairy Conference, with visits to operations in Tennessee and North Carolina leading up to and following the conference. The Southeast Experiential Learning Course itinerary includes seven stops at farms where participants will learn directly from farm owners and staff about a variety of topics, such as on-farm marketing, product packaging, and agritourism. For those accepted into the course, conference registration and lodging will be covered free of charge. Those accepted will also be eligible for up to $700 to defray the cost of travel to Knoxville.
