Vermont Conservation Solutions Through Strategic Partnerships

USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service in Vermont is seeking support from and opportunities to partner with like-minded natural resource conservation partners. An estimated $1.2 million is available to support agreements for projects in Vermont that are one to five years in duration. A proposal must address at least one of the following goals: increase conservation delivery capacity of Vermont NRCS; support outreach activities in conservation planning and implementation for topics including climate-smart, urban, and organic agriculture; or provide support to NRCS and the 14 Vermont Natural Resource Conservation Districts to strengthen the locally-led conservation process. Local and Tribal governments, institutions of higher learning, and nonprofits are eligible to apply.
