Enterprise Budgets for Specialty Crop Growers Released

University of Missouri Extension has released new planning budgets for numerous specialty agriculture enterprises, including high tunnel tomatoes, hydroponic leafy greens, microgreens, Lisianthus cut flowers, and beekeeping. The customizable, interactive budgets are available online and include projections for 2024 market prices, production, input expenses, and ownership costs, to help specialty growers evaluate the feasibility and sustainability of their operation and the costs and returns of specific crops. University of Missouri Extension also introduced a new primer on controlled-environment agriculture production.
