General Farm Description: Just 40 minutes from Yosemite, Happy Goat is a nonprofit farm on a mission—feeding families in need, protecting our community with goat-powered fire prevention, and healing the land through regenerative farming. Internship Details:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, motivated person/persons to join our team. Duties include daily chores feeding and watering animals, moving/shepherding goats, irrigating, planting, weeding, harvesting crops, interacting/assisting guests.
Educational Opportunities: Organic no-till farming, holistic management, permaculture, agritourism.
Skills Desired: Animal and vegetable experience is preferable but most importantly you need to be reliable, honest, hardworking, self starter.
Meals: No, but free veggies and fruits.
Stipend: Yes hourly wage $18-25 depending on experience.
Housing: Yes, onsite camp trailer.
