🌼 Farm Startup Incubator – Launch Your Own Farm in Montana! 🌱
📍 Location: Dixon, Montana
⏳ Start Date: ASAP
Are you passionate about farming and ready to start your own operation? We are offering a farm incubator opportunity for 1-3 serious individuals who have a clear plan and want to launch their own farm business while contributing to our successful 30-year farm operation.
This is not a job, we are not looking for employees. It is a chance to build your own farm enterprise with access to housing, equipment, materials, and mentorship. All basic amenities are provided, and you will have the tools needed to establish and grow your operation. In return, you will assist with planting and harvesting on our farm, with opportunities for additional income during the harvest season.
🚨 About Our Farm: We specialize in growing a wide variety of melons. Applicants will assist in planting, tending, and harvesting melons, so a strong interest in specialty crop farming is preferred.
🚨 Note: Your business plan must align with our infrastructure and be suitable for small-scale agriculture. You will have access to two 3,000-square-foot hoop houses as well as several acres of land that can be utilized in your farm enterprise.
💰 Any profits made during the first season belong to you. If you choose to continue after the first season, we can negotiate a more long-term arrangement.
🌿 What We Offer:
✅ Housing Provided – Large camper on-site.
✅ Access to Equipment & Infrastructure – Use of two 3,000-square-foot hoop houses, several acres of land, tractors, irrigation, and tools to get started.
✅ Support & Mentorship – We have been a successful farm for 30 years and can provide valuable guidance in farm operations.
✅ A Beautiful Location – Farm sits on a river with stunning Montana views.
✅ WiFi & Cell Signal Available (Limited by provider).
✅ Nearby Amenities – Small grocery store (15 min), larger town (45 min).
✅ Basic Stipend for Essentials – $600/month per person (max 3 people) to cover basic needs while getting established.
✅ Additional Income Opportunity – During harvest, there will be chances to earn extra income based on work and contribution.

❓ What questions do you have for us?
Educational Opportunities: We will provide some mentorship, but we strongly prefer applicants who can make and implement their own farm plan. This model allows you to take risks without financial ruin, and your success will be directly tied to your initiative and hard work. Learning how to create you own success is the most valuable education you can receive.
Skills Desired: We are looking for individuals with some prior experience in farming, gardening, or agricultural work who are ready to take the next step in launching their own operation. While specific work experience operating farm equipment, managing crops, or working in a greenhouse is a plus, the most important qualities are initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to create and follow through with a solid farm plan. This opportunity is best suited for those who can work independently, take responsibility for their own success, and are eager to put in the effort required to build a thriving farm enterprise.
Meals: No but we are a fairly friendly family with one grumpy old man. We definitely won't let anyone go hungry.
Stipend: ✅ Basic Stipend for Essentials – $600/month per person (max 3 people) to cover basic needs while getting established.
