Montana Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program

Montana Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program Cooperative Agreements (RFSI). The RFSI program will support projects at the middle of the supply chain that improve capacity for the aggregation, processing, manufacturing, storing, transporting, wholesaling, and distribution of locally and regionally produced food products. The minimum award amount is $10,000 and maximum award amount is $100,000. In addition, a Simplified Equipment-Only Projects grant is available. Stakeholders may include agricultural producers or processors, nonprofits, local and tribal governments, and institutions involved in middle-of-the-supply-chain activities.
