NCAT Accepting Applications for Armed to Farm Training in Maine

NCAT, University of Maine Cooperative Extension, and the Farmer Veteran Coalition of Maine are teaming up to host an Armed to Farm training this summer focused on farmer veterans in Maine and surrounding states. Armed to Farm trainings include an engaging blend of farm tours, hands-on activities, and interactive classroom instruction. Veterans who want to attend the training in Augusta, Maine, August 4-8, 2025, can apply now. This training is for veterans in the Northeastern region, with preference to those residing in Maine. The event is free; lodging, transportation to local farms, and most meals will be provided. The application deadline is June 27, 2025.
