Sustainable Livestock in Arkansas: COVID and Sustainable Ag

NCAT’s ATTRA Agriculture Specialists are producing short videos to share what they are doing on our farms and homesteads, in hopes of giving people ideas for building food security and resiliency at home and in their communities.

Nina Prater and her husband Jeremy have a sustainable livestock operation in the Ozarks of Arkansas. Join them for a quick tour to get a taste of the way they raise hogs, meat goats, cattle, and a few laying hens. They practice adaptive management grazing and raise all their livestock on pasture or in the woods in the case of the hogs. Questions about anything in the video?

This workshop is produced by the National Center for Appropriate Technology through the ATTRA Sustainable Agriculture program, under a cooperative agreement with USDA Rural Development. ATTRA.NCAT.ORG.
