Tall Grass Grazing: Transition Off of N Fertilizer

Tall grass grazing permits a life without N fertilizer and the opportunity to work with nature instead of shoving her aside with inputs. The result is plenty of grass, a better bottom line, and more time for you and your family. Our presenter is Dave Scott, a livestock specialist with the National Center for Appropriate Technology’s ATTRA sustainable-agriculture program. Dave and his wife graze 230 ewes on 30 acres of pasture near Whitehall, Montana.
