The Market Entry Fund – Micro Grants Program
Applications are due by July 1, 2026.
The Market Entry Fund – Micro Grants Program, administered by Renewing the Countryside in association with The Market Entry Fund (TMEF), supports food/beverage/agriculture businesses in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry. The program’s objective is to bolster the financial capability of emerging businesses owned by underrepresented entrepreneurs in Minnesota who demonstrate systemic barriers to equitable participation in this sector. Emerging or small-scale business based in Minnesota that produce consumer-packaged goods and sell to other businesses for resale are eligible to apply. The program gives preference to applicants who best align with program goals. Micro-grants range from $5,000 to $20,000, based on the scale of the business. The most competitive applicants explain how the grant will help alleviate a specific challenge or systemic barrier and propel the business forward to the next level of development.
