Farmers on COVID 19: Let’s Learn from Each Other

On March, 30, 2020 The Virginia Association for Biological Farming partnered with the National Center for Appropriate Technology to conduct an online listening session with farmers to learn about the challenges and opportunities associated with the COVID 19 pandemic.
Members of each organization, as well as a number of farmers, talked about their strategies ranging from marketing to safety protocols as well as taking questions from participants in the session.
Other partners in the effort included Virginia Cooperative Extension, Virginia Tech Center for Food Systems and Community Transformation, Virginia Beginning Farmer and Rancher Coalition Program, Virginia Farmers Market Association, and Virginia Small Farm Resource Center.

This workshop is produced by the National Center for Appropriate Technology through the ATTRA Sustainable Agriculture program, under a cooperative agreement with USDA Rural Development. ATTRA.NCAT.ORG.
